Abstract or Summary

Bipolar Disorder (BD) has been associated with accelerated epigenetic aging and metabolic dysregulation,

although the potential link between these findings is unknown.

We hypothesized that accelerated aging in BD is associated with a worse metabolic and inflammatory profile.
